      On April 26th, the “Intellectual Property and Innovation Development Forum” hosted by University of Science and Technology of China and Shnfan Law Firm was held in the lecture hall of Resources Building of University of Science and Technology of China. Dean of Shnfan Intellectual Property Institute Xu Jing attended the forum and delivered a speech. More than 200 representatives from universities, research institutes, legal circles, business circles, and intellectual property service organizations attended the conference.
      University of Science and Technology of China places great emphasis on teaching, research and practical work of intellectual property, and has achieved great effect. Strengthening the construction of intellectual property in universities has a very important role in encouraging innovation and promoting the transformation of results. Dean Xu Jing of Shnfan hopes that everyone could work together to contribute to the implementation of the national IP strategy.
      The theme of this year’s World Intellectual Property Day is ‘Innovation Changes Lives’ and the innovation is an everlasting human power. It transforms the problem into progress, continues to push out the boundary of possibilities and creates new capabilities like never before. What we celebrated on the 2017 World Intellectual Property Day is creativity.
